Reinhard Pieper came to Cape Town, South Africa from Germany in 1958 to install and commission machinery.

Through keen observation, he soon recognized the great need for a thoroughly professional repair and maintenance service for the printing and paper converting industry which was being exploited by agents who offered new machinery but little or no after sales support.

Pressma Services began in 1967. Quickly, the company grew and soon it was operating on a national basis with branches in Johannesburg and Durban.
Today Trisave has a well-equipped workshop in Cape Town with highly skilled and well trained staff. Used machinery is overhauled and parts are manufactured to original standards, saving the customer time and money.

Trisave was founded in 1977, prompted by the Paper Converting and Printing Industries’ demand for a professional and technically qualified supplier of high quality new and used machinery with the guarantee of reliable back – up service.

The back –up service grew from strength to strength and extended into the export market. The company was duly recognized for its consistently reliable service when in 1989 Trisave was awarded the prestigious State President’s export Award.

Dirk Pieper who has been with the company since 1992 studied Mechanical Engineering and thereafter worked in Germany receiving training from various German suppliers.

In 2013 Reinhard Pieper partially retired from the daily running of the business which he has left in the capable hands of his son Dirk Pieper and wife Marcelle Pieper.
